Why did Delhi ditch Shri Arvind Kejriwal for dengue?

A mass movement in favour of Jan Lokpal was launched in 2010 by Shri Anna Hazare ji. The movement gave a prominent leader to the society who was ready to fight the deep rooted corruption in our country. That leader was ARVIND KEJRIWAL, a bureaucrat who was willing to fight for the country's people. He had seen the system work but never knew how the system worked. Anyways, he jumped into this dirty ground to clean it from within (nice job until now, scoffs).

In 2012 he launched his political carrer with AAP itself. The name was enough to connect the mass with the party. He was acknowledging a massive support now, not just from India but from foreign too. He was sworn in as the C.M of Delhi twice, once in 2013 and then in 2015, to stay, in the latter event. It's been 2 years since then, national & state politics had seen it's ups and downs but there was this one man who never missed the media headlines. Yes, he was his highness himself Shri Arvind ji. No matter what the subject is, he will mould the coil to point it against the central command. From his rebellion against the LG to his defiance of the Centre, he soared to a new high in attempts to expose the central governments' faux promises of development. Every now and then, he would blame the Centre of indulging in Delhi's law and order. His lust for a complete autonomous rule in Delhi was so far fetched that he finally failed it's people.

I remember voting for him in 2013, he was a new hope for the political leadership in India. But sadly, just like any other leader, he failed the common man by resigning within 49 days. When he was meant to fight, he gave in. That was the very first instance when I realised he is not the option for national politics, not until he learns to live politics. Sadly, majority of Delhi didn't see this and he was chosen again. In order to please the people with free water and tarrifed electricity he forgot his motive of fighting against corruption and set loose the devil of ambition. He started blaming the B.J.P for his failed attempts at his schemes. He was learning that politics wasn't as simple as it seemed from Jantar Mantar. The 500 schools he was building, the sanitation he was providing all was lost in his infidelity.

His continued attempts at tarnishing the P.M's image rebounded at his ownself. Had he sticked to working for Delhi instead of getting involved in what was happening around the nation, he would have proved to be a threat to the major players of Indian politics in the 2019 General Elections as well as 2020 Delhi Elections. There would have been possibilities of him sweeping Delhi, again. But, he chose otherwise and degraded his own image amongst the mass which chose him. While, trying to portray himself as an option for Shri Narendra Modi ji he forgot to understand a simple fact that Shri Modi ji learnt poltics for three consecutive terms in Gujarat before jumping into the race for Prime Ministerial post. Modi ji created something on which he could bank upon, something that he could encash in the 2014 General Elections when he will get blamed for the 2002 riots. This is what a leader does, he creates a foundation before working on the building, only thing that Shri Arvind ji did not do.

His eagerness to enter the national politics in 2014 was the biggest mistake he ever committed. He started loosing faith of his own people let alone the people of Delhi. Furthermore, to worsen the issues his ministers got caught up in various cases of fake degrees, molestation, sex tapes etc. The man who was responsible to clean the politics from within was now the part of dirtiest political debates. He started blaming the Centre of starting fake probes, incapacitating his government. The 'Proof for Surgical Strike' was the epitome of his foolish political sense. The army is  fighting for you, day in and day out, for once you had to stand by them and you failed. Sadly, people learnt of his victim card gameplay and started disowning the fact that they voted for him. Go around Delhi asking who voted for AAP and people turn a blind eye. Recently, after loosing Goa to the B.J.P he changed his strategy from 'Victim of the Centre' to ' EVM Tampering' with nothing to support the argument, as always.

MCD elections were an opportunity for the Delhites to make him realise his mistakes, to let him know that there is nothing wrong with the EVM's but the way he is politicising issues. His remarks on how not choosing his party in the elections will bring dengue to the land was such a sham that people played the game on him. To be honest, as a Delhite I know that this election was not to 'chose' a party for MCD but a election to 'not chose' a party for MCD. This was a clear message from the mass to the C.M to let him know that it's high time and he needs to mend his ways. No matter how hard he tries to blame it on the EVM's but the EVM's will be rigged till 2019 General Elections and in all the elections to come.

Respect the people's sentiments, sir. You still have 3 years to work for the people, make them count. Maybe, people will forgive you for the reason that you are a rookie to the game but only if you give a prominent report card.
